The Secretary-General of the Al-Jazeera Conference, Al-Mabr Mahmoud, stated that “the number of deaths has reached 7,000 across the state of Al-Jazeera since the Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) invasion of the state in December 2023 up to December 11.”
According to “Sudan Tribune,” he noted that the death toll in the villages and towns of East Al-Jazeera has reached 1,700, with around 2,000 individuals suffering from permanent disabilities. Additionally, there were nine injuries that led to severe conditions, including three young men in Bashkar village near Tayba Sheikh Abdul Baqi and six others in Wad Madani city, resulting in permanent physical impairments.
