Joint Forces Bury 462 Janjaweed Corpses

The Joint Armed Struggle Forces reported that over three days, they buried 462 corpses belonging to the Janjaweed militia, left behind after recent battles in northern Malit and the Malha region.
In a statement, the Joint Forces’ spokesperson, Lieutenant Ahmed Hussein, confirmed that the militia suffered significant losses, including hundreds of casualties and the destruction of three full convoys. Six of their prominent leaders were killed, and the remnants, led by Rizgallah Al-Safana, fled.
Hussein stated that the militia left hundreds of corpses, causing a severe environmental disaster in the region.
The Joint Forces explained that they buried the dead out of humanitarian considerations and respect for the deceased’s dignity, aiming to protect local residents from the emerging environmental catastrophe following the battle.
