Kyiv Announces Destruction of Russian Command Center in Kursk

Sudan Events – Agencies
Since Ukraine launched a surprise attack in August, Kursk in western Russia has become an embarrassment for President Vladimir Putin, who failed to fulfill his promises of reclaiming it before any potential negotiations. On Friday, Kyiv announced that it had targeted Moscow’s command post in the region as part of efforts to disrupt Russian military operations and logistics. The Ukrainian General Staff stated that “the enemy’s command center has been destroyed.”
Additionally, Ukrainian forces reported the withdrawal of North Korean soldiers who had been sent to fight alongside Russian troops in Kursk.
Colonel Oleksandr Kindratenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces, stated, “Over the past three weeks, we have not seen or detected any activity or military engagements involving the North Koreans. Therefore, we believe they have withdrawn.”
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declined to comment.
