Democratic Bloc leader Mubarak Ardol revealed that on Saturday, they held a meeting with the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, as part of political and community forces, discussing the creation of a roadmap for Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue and the “National Project.”
Ardol added in a tweet, “We collectively handed over the draft titled ‘The Road to Peace and Stability – Towards Unity, Achieving Peace, and Democratic Transition.’ This document is open and subject to modifications, and it includes two phases: the first is foundational, and the second is transitional, leading to elections.”
He continued, “We invite all political forces to join this national project, which paves the way for dialogue within the country and allows us to collectively address the national issues that have remained unresolved since independence.”
