Khartoum Police Recover 26,000 Stolen Citizen Properties

The Khartoum State Police announced the execution of 15 security cordons across the state’s localities in recent weeks, backed by the armed forces and intelligence services. These operations resulted in the arrest of 622 suspects and the recovery of 26,356 stolen citizen properties.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Fath al-Rahman Mohamed al-Toum stated that the seizures included 314 assorted firearms, 14,600 rounds of ammunition, 2,645 cannabis heads, 1,616 narcotic pills, 1,822 strips of narcotic tablets, and large quantities of unlicensed medical drugs.

According to the police press office, legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects, and the seized items have been registered as evidence pending prosecution.

Brigadier al-Toum renewed his call for citizens to promptly report any crimes or violations committed against them at police stations, as well as to report any negative phenomena or criminal acts via the emergency number 999.
