Field sources confirmed the continuation of successive collapses within the ranks of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), announcing the defection of a new group from the Hawazma tribe.
According to the sources, the defectors declared their full alignment with the national cause and officially joined the ranks of the Sudanese Armed Forces, in a move reflecting growing dissatisfaction and rejection within the social groups that the militia had previously relied on.
This development comes at a time when the RSF is experiencing a clear erosion of its manpower base, with tribal and field defections increasing significantly in recent periods.
