On Monday, the Sudanese Armed Forces, backed by allied supporting forces, achieved new field advances in the southeastern part of the Blue Nile region, successfully regaining full control of the areas of “Karn Karn” and “Dokan” after fierce clashes against the Rapid Support Forces militia and Joseph Tuka’s forces.
The military operations resulted in heavy losses in lives and equipment among the opposing forces, in addition to the destruction and targeting of several military sites and facilities.
The command of the Fourth Infantry Division confirmed in a statement issued by its media office that its forces continue to advance steadily in the theater of operations to secure strategic areas and reinforce stability in the region. The statement noted that the operations were carried out with high morale and strong determination to continue advancing until all planned military objectives are fully achieved.
This latest gain comes as part of a series of battlefield successes achieved by the armed forces and their allied units across various combat fronts.
