Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, has arrived in the Russian capital, Moscow, heading the delegation of the Republic of Sudan participating in the proceedings of the Third Russia-Africa Summit.
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council is scheduled to address the summit, which is discussing prospects for strengthening cooperation and partnership between Russia and African countries, developing relations across all fields, and addressing regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Accompanying the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council on the visit are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Finance, the Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, the Director-General of the Defense Industries System, and the Director of the Chairman’s Office at the Sovereignty Council.
