Islamists Critique RSF Addis Statements

Sudan Events / Follow-ups

The Islamic Movement in Sudan has stressed: “We will continue to stand in the correct position in history and in the same position in which we support the Sudanese army and the grieving people who are fleeing from Rapid Support Forces militia (RSF) areas in search of security and safety”.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Islamic Movement has considered this position to be an honorable position in the trenches of the popular armed resistance.
The movement announced that: “We congratulate its launch and we stand shoulder to shoulder with all the people of Sudan in order to eradicate this cancer spreading with the tumors of the militia and the remnants of the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC),”.
The movement’s statement criticized the declaration of the rebel leader, Hemedti, in Addis Ababa yesterday, and said, “At a time when the people of Sudan are suffering from the RSF Militias violations, and its persistence in humiliation, terror, rape, murder, destruction of facilities, blocking roads, and legalizing looting and the violation of rights, the leader of the rebel militia came out to us to discharge poison to the rhythm of the psalms of his priests, and his audience of burners of incense selling honor and those who wash their hands with blood, to sign together a propaganda document called the Addis Ababa Declaration, bearing the same texts that made Sudan the source of doom.”
The statement described the signed declaration as a declaration stained with the blood of the innocent people and written on the forehead of the shame of traitors and mercenaries who do not want peace and do not ask for a way out of the country’s crisis, which was created by the rebel militia and supported by the FFC.
The movement indicated that the Addis Ababa Declaration, signed between the rebellion and the Democratic Front (Tagadum), is nothing but an attempt to legalize the state of the country’s separation and isolation from its grieving people, so that Hamdouk and his group of agents and hired servants sit in the seats of broken-down power, with the skulls of innocent people assassinated at the hands of treachery and whose blood spilled by Dagalo’s forces.
The statement reiterated the Islamic Movement’s assertion that this war is an extension of a plan prepared by the leader of the rebel militia since April 2019, and which he has been planning and mobilizing for, and his testimony to that in his speech yesterday and the attempt to confuse the position of the Secretary-General and the leaders of the movement is nothing but an exposure of his contradictory positions, his false slogans, and his false claims against the Islamic Movement and its members.
