Jibril: Arming People, the Sole Option

The head of the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement –cum- Finance Minister, Dr Jibril Ibrahim, has denounced the voices that reject the option of the Popular Resistance and Arming Citizens to confront the aggression of the Rapid Support militia.
“Controlling and organizing the Popular Resistance is important,” Jibril stressed in a comment on his account on “X” platform.
He emphasized that there was no escape from arming the people as long as there are those who target the defenseless civilians.
Various states in Sudan have recently organized campaigns to launch popular armed resistance to confront the crimes and violations committed by the Rapid Support Militia against defenseless civilians, and the campaign become popular and drew support from the command of the armed forces and various sectors
