Sudanese Lions Evacuated to Jordan

The Wildlife Conservation Forces have evacuated a group of wild animals affected by the current war situation. The Police department at the Ministry of Interior which reported the news has explained that (4) types of wild animals have been evacuated, including lions, birds, hyenas, deer, and reptiles.
The move was taken following the killing of (9) lions and (3) hyenas, 10 deer, as well as the injury of an unspecified group of other animals either by gunshots and shrapnel.
According to the press statement (15) animals, including (11) lions and (4) hyenas have been included in the evacuation process. But it specified that these animals will be returned to the Sudan when the Sudan when the situation settles.
The statement said four other lions that need close care are among the evacuees which will also be returned home after receiving adequate veterinary care with the help of the Princess Alia Foundation and the Four Claws Organization
