Economic Expert Justifies SDG Deterioration

Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah

The economic expert, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ramadi, confirmed that the continued deterioration of the Sudanese pound against foreign currencies is a normal matter that comes from the projections of the Rapid Support Militia’s war against the Sudanese army. In his a statement to (Sudan Events), he argued that the deterioration of the currency in light of the unstable security situation that has reached the stage of chaos and the absence of a state with effective decisions that establish security forcefully and impose its control on outlaws is normal, and if it had not happened, it would have been a miracle, because there is a rebellion from an oppressive faction that oppressed the Sudanese people, ruined life, destroyed the infrastructure, prevented the production process, and led to the cessation of the industrial sector in the capital, in addition to the cessation of investment, and the plundering of banks. He continued, “All of this has sealed the fate of the currency,” noting that there is no production for exports, while on the other hand, there is demand for imports of necessities. What Al-Ranadi said makes the demand for other foreign currencies exist, with no exports to match. The demand for foreign currencies causes their price to rise against the local currency, which weakens its value and described it as a logical matter.
