Moroccan Hussein Amouta, coach of the Jordanian national team, said that we must build on what the Nashama team achieved in the Asian Cup, which was held in Qatar.
Jordan was able to win silver in the Asian Cup, for the first time in its history, after losing 1-3 to its Qatari brother, the host.
“The achievement was achieved thanks to the players’ performance, the support of Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein, President of the Football Association, and his accompanying us in the tournament.” Amouta added in statements during Al-Nashama’s reception.
“We also thank the fans who supported the team in the Asian Cup matches, and played an important role in encouraging the players to exert their maximum effort.” He noted.
“There is a defect in Jordanian football. We must work to diagnose it and find appropriate solutions, to ensure the continuation of Al-Nashama’s achievements.” He pointed out.
“Maintaining what has been achieved is difficult, and ambition alone is not enough. Reasons for success must be created, while being armed with seriousness, perseverance, and providing support.” He stressed.
