The fate of Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies remains ambiguous, in light of his desire to take on a new challenge outside the walls of the Bavarian club, according to some press reports.
Davies’ contract with Bayern expires in the summer of 2025, with reports of a strong desire on the part of Real Madrid to include him after the end of the current season.
Christian Falk, a journalist for the German newspaper “Bild”, confirmed that Nick Hosset, Alphonso Davies’ agent, did not inform Christoph Freund, Bayern Munich’s sporting director, during the last meeting between the two parties, regarding any agreement with Real Madrid.
Falk added that if Davies does not agree to renew his contract with Bayern, he will be offered for sale, and the move will be to sign the Frenchman Theo Hernandez, the Milan full-back.
Real Madrid is seeking to strengthen the left side of its ranks, in light of the many injuries to Ferland Mendy, and the lack of conviction in the level of Fran Garcia.
