Laporta: Barcelona wants to sign the Napoli star

Barcelona president Joan Laporta announced his club’s desire to sign a Napoli star during the upcoming summer Mercato.
Numerous reports have emerged confirming that Catalan club officials have contacted the agent of the Slovakian player, Sanislav Lobotka, in an attempt to sign him.
Lobotka’s agent, Branislav Jarosic, confirmed that he had spoken to Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, and Xavi Hernandez, the team’s technical director, about a possible transfer.
For his part, Laporta stated that the club is already interested in signing the Napoli star and Scudetto winner last season.
“We talked about him (Lobotka) with Deco and it appears that Barcelona really wants to sign him, but there are a lot of things that must happen first.” Laporta said in statements highlighted by the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”.
It is noteworthy that Jarosik recently admitted that his client received some offers from the Saudi League last January, stressing that the player’s desire is to stay in Europe and play in the Champions League.
