They confirmed the cancellation and reduction of some ministries in the expected formation, and said that the prospective prime minister shall be entrusted with the responsibility of choosing ministers.
The “Sudan Events” had preceded these reports by revealing, according to their reliable sources, that the new government would be formed after the liberation of Gezira State from the desecration of the rebel RSF militia, and that an expected decision would be issued by the President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, to appoint Malik Aqar as prime minister, in addition to that, the formation of the National Constituent Assembly (Parliament) will be made up of entities and personalities supporting the army in the Battle of Dignity.

Academic and strategic analyst Professor Ahmed Sabah Al-Khair, one of the figures who were nominated by revolutionary groups to assume the prime “ministership” earlier, says that Sudan needs a prime minister and a government to run the wheel of the country.
During this stage, he described it to the transitional stage, in which he said that the government must be formed from technocrats and independents and move away from parties.
Sabah Al-Khair to (Sudan Events) considered that any choice of a prime minister or government affiliated with a party that is a sign of evil may ignite more flames, and he said that the choice should be from independents, provided that they support the national line and the armed forces, and he demanded that the next government be agile so as not to burden the people. The country should pay attention to helping those affected by the war, strive to resolve it, and pay attention to the economy and people’s livelihood, stressing his support for the step of merging the ministries.
Candidate names:
Among the names that were rumored to assume the position of Prime Minister recently was the appointed governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, who a number of voices called for the necessity of assuming the position based on his position and steadfastness in Khartoum State and his performance of his duties despite the circumstances facing the state, but there are those who rule out nominating Hamza and dispensing with him from the administration. The affairs of the capital are considered to be in need of him, while the name of the head of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Mustafa Tambour, emerged as one of the most prominent names of the leaders of the armed movements, which clarified their position on the rebellion and confirmed their support for the Sudanese Armed Forces, but that did not prevent talk of the need to pay the Minister of Finance, head of the Justice and Equality Movement, Jibriel Ibrahim to take office.

Mohammad Ali pointed out that the selection criteria are those who have high competence and the ability to work under these circumstances. He expected that the candidate will have extensive experience in executive work and previous work in the government sector, which will facilitate his next mission. He said that there are no specific names that can be expected to be nominated, but he expected that the Prime Minister would be one of the current ministers to be reappointed to the position, given that he combines political experience with ministerial work and his understanding of many files.
