Within the framework of the Sultan Qaytbay Seat’s interest for cultural development, the Seat organizes an event to celebrate the long history of cultural exchange between Sudan and Egypt. The event is held in cooperation with the Al-Mahrousa Foundation for Development and Participation under the title “Along the banks of the Nile Valley: A Sudanese-Egyptian day in the Seat of Sultan Qaytbay.”
Today’s program includes a concert and fine art exhibitions by Sudanese artists, in addition to a handicrafts bazaar and other events. On this occasion, a general invitation was sent to all interested Sudanese handicraft makers residing in Cairo to participate in the “Sultan’s Bazaar for Sudanese Handicrafts.”
