Spanish Real Madrid received a strong shock, before competing in the Champions League final next June 1, against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium, as the Brazilian Palmeiras striker Andric, who will join the ranks of Real Madrid starting next season, suffered a severe thigh injury while participating with his team against Independiente del Valle in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores.
Palmeiras striker Endric was substituted against Independiente 14 minutes after the events of the second half, due to an injury in his thigh. He left the field in severe pain, and the young Brazilian striker came out on a stretcher. He then sat on the Palmeiras bench, limping, and placed a bag of ice on the muscle injury.
This injury raises concerns for Real Madrid, especially since the player is preparing to join the Merengues at the end of the current season, while this is a shock to the Brazilian national team before participating in the Copa America tournament next June.
