Exporting 13,000 heads of sheep to Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Production and Economic Resources in North Kordofan, Ibrahim Hamid Mohamed revealed that the first quarter of 2024 witnessed the export of 13 thousand heads of sheep to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He pointed to the relative and preferential advantages enjoyed by the state in livestock, particularly Hammary anf kabashi for sheep, and said, “It is expected that the second half of 2024 will witness an increase in exports.”
Hamid explained that the vaccination vaccines arrived at Port Sudan port, which is support provided by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and are expected to arrive in El Obeid during the coming period, indicating that the vaccines amount to 900 thousand doses to vaccinate 500 thousand heads.
He praised the great and appreciated efforts made by the General Administration of Animal Wealth in monitoring the movement of livestock.
