Readiness to launch Additional Health Insurance Package

Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouq Nour ElDayem, announced the completion of the Fund’s preparations to implement the additional package project for medical services.
While meeting the Fund’s Emergency Committee and the Additional Package Management (Tuesday) in Port Sudan, he described the additional package project as a great opportunity to improve the financing reform process and contributes to the overall reform of the health system.
Nour ElDayem said that health insurance has completed all technical and administrative preparations for implementation.
Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund pointed to the completion of the preparations for the service provision network, and stated that the team of institution representatives will be an integral part of the process of evaluating the outlets, adding that the additional package will serve its basic counterparts to a great extent.
He affirmed the completion of the readiness of the state health insurance branches to implement the additional packages.
