On Friday evening, the village of Um Dafis, located north of Abu Zabad in West Kordofan, was violently attacked by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
Sources told “Darfur24” that the attack targeted the village market, resulting in the death of 13 civilians, including nine from Um Dafis, two from the nearby village of Al-Raqeeba, and another two from the neighboring village of Abu Qalb.
The attack also caused multiple injuries, according to the sources.
The sources confirmed that the market witnessed widespread looting, with militia members seizing all fuel barrels and looting stores and goods.
