The Killing of 20 People in a Militia Attack on a Village in Al-Jazira

Twenty civilians were killed in a new attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on the village of Al-Laouta, located in northern Al-Jazira State.
The Al-Jazira Conference reported that the RSF militia attacked Al-Laouta Al-Hajjaj village in Al-Kamalin locality on Thursday, using two combat vehicles and more than 100 motorcycles. The attack resulted in the deaths of 10 residents of the village, with 8 of them identified. It also left several wounded, with efforts underway to count the injured.
Meanwhile, local sources told Sudan Tribune that the death toll in Al-Laouta village had risen to 20 by Friday. They revealed that a large number of residents had fled to Alti, a town located 7 kilometers east of Al-Laouta.
