Fluctuations in Foreign Exchange Rates in the Parallel Market

Monitoring by Al-Ahdath has revealed new changes in the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Sudanese pound in the parallel (unofficial) market. While some currencies experienced slight increases, others remained stable.
Foreign currency dealers reported that the US dollar showed a slight increase on Friday, reaching SDG 2,523.74. The Saudi riyal rose to SDG 672.99, and the UAE dirham recorded SDG 687.66. Meanwhile, the euro stood at SDG 2,656.57, the British pound at SDG 3,194.60, and the Egyptian pound at SDG 50.8. The Bahraini dinar registered SDG 6,641.42, the Qatari riyal SDG 691.43, the Omani riyal SDG 6,641.42, and the Kuwaiti dinar SDG 8,141.09.
