Preparations for the Return of Thousands of Displaced People to Sennar

The chairman of the committee overseeing the relocation of displaced persons from Al-Qadarif to Sennar State announced the beginning of registration for voluntary return to safe localities in Sennar.
A total of 7,442 individuals require 212 buses for transportation. For Sennar locality alone, 1,778 individuals need 51 buses, with departures planned from Al-Hilal Square. In Al-Suki locality, 4,423 people require 126 buses, while 219 individuals in East Sennar need six buses, with departures from the area east of the rehabilitation hospital.
Efforts are underway, with collaboration between the Zakat Chamber of Sennar and the states of Kassala and Al-Qadarif, to facilitate the return process.
