Government: We reject any crime committed against Sudanese people

Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The official spokesperson for the government, Minister of Culture and Information Khaled Al-Ayser, confirmed their rejection of any crime committed against any Sudanese man or woman anywhere in Sudan. He urged all fighters who are fighting to liberate Sudan’s land from the defilement of rebellion, collaborators, and mercenaries’ guides to follow the values of justice and law when dealing with prisoners suspected of collaborating with the rebellion or those who have killed innocent civilians.
Al-Ayser addressed a message in a post on his Facebook page: “We say to those who trade in individual misconduct cases, you are the ones with double standards, and you are trying to escalate the flames of the sedition that you ignited on April 15, 2023, by supporting the rebellion and the raping mercenaries who crossed our borders and killed tens of thousands of Sudanese people—men, women, children, and the elderly. You turned a blind eye with your shameful silence to all their horrific crimes against innocent citizens in every corner of Sudan for 21 months, crimes that are shameful and have no precedent in the history of wars in Sudan.”
He added: “Do not trade today in isolated individual incidents that do not represent the army’s approach or the approach of all the forces defending Sudan’s land, which abide by all humanitarian values in wars. Know that the Sudanese soldier, after any victory in a battle with the criminal mercenaries and rebels, is most concerned with adhering to the principles of treating prisoners. There is no place for revenge after victory, but rather for bringing every criminal to a fair trial, following the methodology studied and memorized by every Sudanese soldier to establish the values of a state of justice, law, and peace.”
