For his part, MSF International President Javid described the meeting with the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council as productive and constructive. He said, “We are proud, as an organization, to stand alongside the Sudanese people and provide them with humanitarian assistance and health services in cooperation with our partners at the Ministry of Health.” He explained that MSF currently operates in eight states and is eager to expand its activities to the remaining states, commending the facilitation provided by relevant authorities and affirming that Sudan ranks high among the organization’s priorities.
