CAF announces the establishment of the African Clubs Association

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) officially announced on Thursday the establishment of the African Club Association (ACA) at a ceremony in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. CAF chose Kenya as the headquarters to host the embryonic African Club Association, which includes 80 clubs based on the CAF classification of the continent’s clubs.
The Sudanese summit teams, Al Hilal and Al Merreikh, participated in the first historic formation of the Club Association, which was attended by a group of sports leaders in Africa, led by the President of CAF.
