Local residents said that the Rapid Support militia (RSF) bombed today, Sunday, in Omdurman, Hara (34) Market, a popular market crowded with citizens, while “explosive” shells were fired at civilians in Hara (5), Althawra .
In its bombardment of the market today, the militia used gas shells, which it had previously used in areas and neighborhoods of the city of Jabal Awliya last November.
In addition, multiple sources and agencies said that the commander of the rebel RSF, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo Hemedti, arrived this Sunday morning in Djibouti, where he will meet with President Ismail Omer Guella, President of Djibouti and head of the current session of the IGAD organization, to discuss developments in the situation in Sudan.
It is expected that a special meeting will be held between the Army Commander – President of the Sovereign Council of Sudan, General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, and the leader of the rebel militia during the first week of next January, according to IGAD.
