Sudanese Army: We responded to “Dilang” and “Al-Obeid” attack and Rebel Forces Randomly Bomb Omdurman Hospital

The Sudanese army said that its forces in the Fifth Infantry Division, “Al-Hagana,” defeated yesterday, and for the second day in a row, a failed attempt by the rebel Rapid Support militia to target some neighborhoods in the city of El-Obeid, where the armed forces confronted them outside the city and forced them to flee, inflicting great losses in personnel and equipment.
The official spokesperson also added that the forces of the 54th Dilang Infantry Brigade also repelled and destroyed a treacherous attack by the rebels of the “People’s Liberation” party, and they were defeated and the city secured.
As for the city of Omdurman, the rebellion recorded a new violation of international humanitarian law by targeting with indiscriminate bombing yesterday, Monday, Al-Naw Hospital in northern Omdurman. Thid led to the death of 4 people and the injury of others.
Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah – the official spokesman for the army, concluded his statements by emphasizing that the armed forces will continue to thwart and destroy all the enemy’s methods used to harm citizens and destabilize them until victory is achieved and the country is cleansed of the filth of rebellion.
