Darfur Governor : We Support the Jeddah Platform

The Governor of the Darfur region in western Sudan, Minni Arko Minawi, appreciated the visit made by the head of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, to Ethiopia on Wednesday, during which he met with the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiye Ahmed.
Minawi posted a message on “x” platform, saying, “We have completed fruitful visits to some friendly African countries and the consensus not to allow the dismantling of Sudan was present during all the meetings. This African position will push towards destroying all the plots woven to dismantle the country. We stress that the solution should be African, with our full support for the Jeddah platform to reach a ceasefire
Minawi accompanied Al-Burhan in his last two visits to Kenya, Monday and Ethiopia Wednesday .
The delegation included the Acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
