War-Affected 50,000 Baskets, Secured

Engineer Omer Abdul Aziz, Acting Director of the Qatar Charity Office, revealed that (4,000) food baskets have been allocated to the Northern State, (2,000) baskets to Kasala State, and (2,000) baskets to the Red Sea State, each food basket contains (40) kilograms of essential food items.
It is to be noted that each baket contains material that will be meet the needs of a family of (6) persons for a whole month. Abdul Aziz explained that the total number of beneficiaries of food aid shipments directed to affected families in Kasala, the North, and the Red Sea states stands at (48,000) beneficiaries, while the total number of beneficiaries of the project of (50,000) baskets to affected families in Sudan is (300,000) beneficiaries.
