Wahaj Cultural Forum in the city of Atbara organised yesterday its regular event at the Finance Employees Club in Atbara. The evening was dedicated to the poet Omar Al-Awad under the title (Patterns and mechanisms of poetic discourse according to the poet Omar Al-Awad… a textual approach).
The approach came from Adel Yousuf Saad, who elaborated on the terminology and vocabulary of the poet’s poetic discourse, explaining that the concept of poetic discourse is one of the concepts that has continued to receive increasing attention, both ancient and modern.
In his speech, he discussed his attempts to explore the most prominent patterns and mechanisms in the poetry of Omar Al-Awad, that he used. As artistic, aesthetic and cognitive foundations, he explained how to receive the poetic blog from the poet, in addition to analyzing concepts that talk about colloquial Sudanese poetry, stressing that it has different verbal, artistic and aesthetic styles and traditions for the Sudanese personality, considering that any speech is a cognitive and aesthetic message at the same time and that Sudanese poetry is complex and intersecting in its arts. Verbal, musical and philosophical. The session was rich with commentary, discussion, and the voice of the singer Hashem Omar, who sang some of his songs with the poetry of his friend Omar Al-Awad.
