Minawi: El Fasher will be the Militia’s Graveyard
Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The governor of the Darfur region and head of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Minni Arko Minawi, has said that the battle of El Fasher will be a graveyard for the Rapid Support militia (RSF), and revealed military arrangements to break the siege imposed by the RSF on the city.
He stressed that the city of El Fasher is completely healthy, and that the joint force, the regular forces, and the popular support will be brave in the Battle of dignity.
Minawi said, according to “The Investigator,” commenting on the position of Musa Hilal, the leader of the Mahamid tribe, and his declaration of standing alongside the armed forces. He said that Musa Hilal’s position is not new, but what is new is his announcement, adding that Musa Hilal had not joined the RSF before, stressing that the leader of the Mahamid tribe is Sudanese. He sees foreigners in front of him disdaining his country, and this position is obligatory.
Commenting on the speech of the former Chadian ambassador in Cairo, Al-Amin Al-Dodo Abdullah, Minawi explained that this talk comes in the context of the statements of the Chadian Foreign Minister, who speaks as if he were an official spokesman for this militia, and that this makes it clear that the RSF project is not a Sudanese project, but rather a project that came to Sudan as cross-border.
Minawi commented on the complaint submitted by Sudan to the Security Council and the Sudanese Permanent Mission in New York asked the Council to discuss Abu Dhabi’s support for RSF and the demand as a partner in the war against Sudan. Minawi said: This complaint must produce a result, because Sudan cannot remain silent in the face of the dismantling practices that are taking place by certain well-known countries.
