The Acting Governor of North Darfur, Hafez Bakhit, accompanied by the director of the state police, the deputy commander of the 6th Infantry Division, and representatives of the command and control body of the joint force, inspected the defenses on various axes and fronts.
The visit came to check out the military conditions and stations, and to inspect the conditions and morale of the fighters.
He said that they are fully prepared to destroy the militias of the “evil Janjaweed,” and confirmed that the battle of El Fasher is the final stop for the remnants of the militias.
According to the Joint Force media statement, the governor announced, “The state government’s determination to stand and support unlimitedly whatever is necessary to sweep away the crumbling militias.”
