Sudan Events – Agencies

Norwegian striker Erling Haaland regained his glow again during his team’s match, Manchester City, against Wolverhampton, on Saturday evening, at Etihad Stadium, in the 36th round of the English Premier League.
Haaland succeeded in scoring 4 goals, a “hat-trick” in the first half of the match, including two penalty kicks in minutes 12, 35 and 45+3, in addition to a goal in the second half (54th minute).
The Norwegian striker became the third to score two hat-tricks in the first half of a match in the history of the Premier League, according to the Opta statistics network.
English duo Andy Cole and Michael Owen had previously done so twice in the first half, before the Man City striker emulated them.
As for the “Squaka” network, it reported that Haaland had achieved his sixth hat-trick in the Premier League, which he achieved in just two seasons by participating in 63 matches.
Haaland thus surpassed the Dutch duo Ruud van Nistelrooy and Robin van Persie, in addition to Andy Cole and Dimitar Berbatov, who all scored (5) hat-tricks.
The Opta network indicated that Brazilian Gabriel Jesus, currently the Arsenal star, is the only player to score a “super hat-trick” faster than Haaland in the Premier League, when he was a Manchester City player in 2022.
Jesus was able to score a hat-trick against Watford in a City shirt two years ago, in just 53 minutes.
While the “Squaka” network reported that the last 4 players to score a “super hat-trick” in the Premier League are Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne in 2022, in addition to Cole Palmer and Haaland during the current year.
