Khartoum Governor Announces His Support for the Producers

Sudan Events – Nahid Oshi

The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, has confirmed that his government is interested in the productive sector as an essential component of the plan to normalize life in light of the war, relying on producers who conquered the circumstances, bore the burdens of war, and continued production operations so that a food gap does not occur after the rebel militia sabotaged and plundered most agricultural, animal, and industrial production projects.
During his visit to the Savana Integrated Project for the production of table eggs and animal feed, and his visit to the electric power station and veterinary hospitals, he praised the project management and its workers, citizens of the Al-Fath region, who steadfastly defended the project against the groups that attacked it on the grounds of theft.
He said, “We realize that producers are affected by the war, so we targeted the production sites to identify the problems so that production is not disrupted due to the war. We are with the producers and workers in the production fields who were patient and steadfast in the face of the enemy that targeted their sites.” He pledged to support the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock so that it can restore its services, especially this hospital, which is the only one operating in the state, so we will provide it with all the medicines and equipment. The governor pledged to solve the water problem, secure the site, fight random markets and negative practices, pay attention to the health of the environment, deal with animal waste, and activate veterinarian extension and review the health of the dairy and its transport utensils.
