Bayern President Dreams of Signing Wirtz

Uli Hoeneß, the honorary president of German club Bayern Munich, stated that he dreams of signing Florian Wirtz, the star of Bayer Leverkusen, one day.
Hoeneß mentioned in an interview with the German “T-Online” network on Tuesday: “Wirtz is a player we should not overlook, and I dream of signing him.”
He continued: “If I had a dream, it would be for Wirtz to move to Bayern Munich, but that is just my personal opinion.”
Wirtz is under contract with Leverkusen, the German league champions, until 2027 and has attracted interest from major European clubs, including Bayern Munich.
Hoeneß added: “He is a remarkable player with amazing skills and fits the image of Bayern Munich because he entertains the fans.”
He also noted: “If Florian Wirtz plays alongside Jamal Musiala for Bayern at some point, we can look to the future with greater peace of mind.”
Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich’s star, has seemed very much in sync with Wirtz while playing for Germany’s national team.
