Spanish Cup: A Clash Between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the Semifinals

The draw for the semifinals of the Spanish Cup, held on Wednesday, resulted in an intense match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, while Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad.
Barcelona, the most successful team in the competition with 31 titles, will host Atletico Madrid in the first leg at the Olympic Montjuïc Stadium, before playing the second leg at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
As for Real Madrid, the holder of both the Champions League and La Liga titles, they will play the first leg in the Basque Country at the Anoeta Stadium, where they always face a tough opponent, before welcoming Real Sociedad for the return leg at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
This is the first time since 2014 that the three giants—Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico—have reached the semifinals together.
Real Madrid leads the league standings with a one-point lead over Atletico and two points over Barcelona after 23 rounds of La Liga.
The first-leg matches will take place between February 25 and 27, and the second legs will be held between April 1 and 3. The final will be played at the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville on April 26.
