Sources revealed to “Darfur24” that the Ta’sees (Establishment) Alliance has selected Rapid Support Forces (RSF) commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti” as its leader, while Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM-North) leader Abdelaziz Al-Hilu was chosen as his deputy.
The sources added that consultations are ongoing to select the rest of the alliance’s members, in preparation for the next phase — forming a parallel government.
The “Ta’sees” Alliance includes the RSF militia, the SPLM under Abdelaziz Al-Hilu, the Revolutionary Front, and several political forces, including the National Umma Party.
In February and March, the alliance approved its founding documents in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, which included a “Political Charter and Transitional Constitution” that stipulated the secularism of the state.
