Barcelona: Arbitration Biased Towards Real Madrid

Barcelona believes that arbitration in La Liga is heavily biased in favor of Real Madrid, which is competing with it for the Spanish League title.
According to the newspaper “Sport”, Barcelona coach Xavi expressed the internal anger within Barcelona due to the difference in refereeing standards.
She revealed, “There is tremendous anger in Barcelona, and they are also extremely concerned about what might happen in the coming weeks of arbitration.”
She indicated that Barcelona will not take public measures at the present time, and hopes that no more scandals will occur, and that the decisions of the VAR will be fair.
She explained, “Barcelona intends to take an escalatory step in the matter if the refereeing errors that favor Real Madrid are repeated during the decisive stage of La Liga.”
The newspaper said that Barcelona is convinced that the team is capable of winning La Liga, and that had it not been for the refereeing errors, the conflict with Real Madrid would have been much closer than the current difference in points.
Barcelona believes that the pressure exerted by Real Madrid on arbitration casts a shadow over the decisions, but they believe that these matters will be resolved when the decisive matches in La Liga are played.
