Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council has categorically denied media reports and social media claims suggesting direct or indirect negotiations between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the rebel militia in Washington.
In an official statement, the Council described the claims as “entirely false,” reiterating that the government’s position remains clear and unwavering—committed to a national solution that preserves Sudan’s sovereignty, unity, stability, and the rights of its people.
