RSF Mobilize via New Supply Route from Central African Republic

Field sources have reported serious military movements by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the southern border of West Kordofan, suggesting extensive reorganization and stockpiling in preparation for a new military phase.

According to Dr. Muzammil Abu Al-Qasim, militia leader Abdel Rahim Dagalo addressed field commanders in a meeting yesterday, confirming the arrival of heavy equipment through a direct supply route from the Central African Republic, as part of plans to consolidate their presence in West Kordofan as a main launch point.

The plan reportedly includes coordinated operations following the capture of the Heglig oil region, advancing toward South Kordofan, Deleng, and Kadugli, alongside other movements targeting El Obeid, aiming for a strategic breakthrough that repositions the militia in central cities.

The meeting included tribal chiefs from Darfur and Kordofan, including leaders of the Rizigat, Misseriya, Hawazma, Ma’alia, Beni Halba, and Habaniya groups, marking the largest tribal mobilization by the militia since the outbreak of the war. The RSF reportedly asked these administrations for unprecedented mobilization for a campaign intended—according to militia leaders—to continue “until Khartoum again.”

Sources indicate that the new supply line via the Central African Republic is directly supported by the UAE, raising serious security concerns, particularly in Sudan’s relatively calm regions, which are currently preoccupied with local affairs. Observers warn that ignoring these moves could trigger a new chapter of war beyond recent months’ experiences.
