Khartoum State Police confirmed full coverage of all emergency services across the state and asserted that the capital remains under comprehensive security control, with police checkpoints and deployments actively monitoring the streets.
Major General Issam Mahjoub, Director of Public Affairs, told reporters on Tuesday that Khartoum is “fully secured” and that the police continue to upgrade control systems. He noted a significant decline in security-related reports and emphasized the closure of recently established recruitment offices, stating that all legal violations are being strictly addressed.
Brigadier General Taj Al-Din Mohammed, Director of Emergency Services, described the department as a sensor and protective arm against potential security threats. He noted changes in the nature of police reports post-conflict, including hazards involving dangerous materials and fires due to abandoned properties and overgrown vegetation.
