American diplomat Cameron Hudson said that the claim of the RSF advisor, Youssef Ezzat, that they are ready to hand over the lands under their control to civilian leaders is a claim that must be tested immediately. However, Hudson add that without representative of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and no Diplomatic alliance, there is no one to invite them to do this.
The American diplomat indicated in various posted on (X) stressing that he is fully confident that the International Criminal Court will indict Hemedti sooner rather than later for the horrific crimes he committed over a decade, and visits like these to countries that are signatories to the International Criminal Court will become more difficult. He will also change the entire nature of this war before concluding his post by setting a stopwatch, indicating that actions are imminent.
