Senior Advisor to the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy to Sudan, Nayla Hajjar, thanked Egypt for its tireless efforts to stop the war in Sudan.
She said while addressing the opening of the Sudanese Political and Civil Powers Conference, held in Cairo on Saturday, that the comprehensive Sudanese dialogue will be the influential factor in making peace, and we aim to achieve peace on solid ground.
She called for ending the fighting and delivering aid, affirming the UN’s full support for all efforts that serve ending the war.
