Sudan Events – Follow-ups

The Commissioner of the Humanitarian Aid Commission, Salwa Adam, reiterated the impact of the war on all sectors of the Sudanese people, causing destruction to educational institutions, healthcare services, public utilities, electricity, water, and others.

During a meeting in her office in Port Sudan with a delegation from the Bahraini KAF Humanitarian Association, which is visiting Sudan to assess the scale of aid provided by the Humanitarian Aid Commission to those displaced by the war, and how KAF could assist in supporting shelters to alleviate citizens’ suffering, Salwa said, “We are now in the return phase after liberating the cities from the control of the terrorist rebel militias, and this requires doubling our efforts to help families return to their homes and areas.”
