Air defense units of the Sixth Infantry Division in El Fasher, supported by artillery, destroyed five RSF combat vehicles attempting to flee via the Kautum-El Fasher road.
The Sixth Infantry Division issued a statement saying that the Armed Forces, with support from the joint forces of armed struggle movements and artillery, carried out another successful operation, destroying a “tractor-trailer” loaded with weapons and ammunition on its way to El Fasher from the northeast. The truck and its cargo were completely destroyed along with the personnel on board.
The statement further mentioned that four RSF rebels had surrendered to military checkpoints in the eastern and southern directions after suffering heavy losses from aerial and artillery strikes in recent days, as well as facing hunger and disease.
At the same time, air defenses and military checkpoints in El Fasher shot down several RSF drones, including three drones using AK-47s and G3 rifles, demonstrating the soldiers’ high vigilance in countering aerial threats.
The statement also mentioned that the RSF militia fired 37 artillery shells at shelter centers in El Fasher, killing 10 civilians, including a 3-year-old girl, and severely injuring all her family members.
