Drones seized in Oman, destined for Sudan

Security sources have revealed that a shipment of drones coming from the United Arab Emirates were seized by the Omani customs authorities. The transit shipment was marked as heading for Yemen, while the actual final destination was the Sudan.

The Sultanate authorities on Tuesday announced seizing a shipment of drones at Hafit outlet, heading for Yemen as intermediary destination

The Sultanate customs authorities posted a video in its account in X platform about the shipment of drones which was crossing as transit from the United Arab Emirates for Yemen.

The Omani statement said the customs official uncovered the shipment which was concealed in a highly professional manner in several locations within the shipment. It said the concerned authorities have launched official investigations to take legal action against the suspects.
